Santa

After my brief, and a little unsettling visit with Santa Claus, my parents explained to me that the real Santa isn't as creepy as this guy. That's my wish for you this Christmas--that the real Santa that comes to visit and bring you presents is as magical as the one in your imagination. and not at all creepy. Happy Holidays!!

The Snow Must Go On

I don't know about you guys, but I feel like I've been waiting half my life for another winter storm. Well it finally came the other day, and as you can see, it was a lot of understated fun. I'm trying to pace myself; I still have to do some traveling. I heard a rumor that Santa is coming to two houses in two different states, and I don't want to miss that. We've been decorating our tree and baking cookies and all kinds of holiday fun. I'll catch you later; right now I have a lot of holiday parties to get to....

Post Halloween Post

Boo!!! I know its after Halloween, but I've had my face buried in a pumpkin full of candy for a few days. This is the craziest thing, I walked around trying to be the scariest skeleton I could, but people just kept letting me come to their house and get candy. I've never seen anything like it in my whole life. If you see me walking around your neighborhood, play it cool and call me 'Skelly.' Oh yeah, I also threw in a shot of me in some new threads, just because I looked so good. Scare ya later!!

Apple pickin' and pumpkin patchin'

I went to a pumpkin patch for my second birthday, but mostly we just picked apples, which didn't make much sense to me. But they were a lot easier to carry than the pumpkins. Apples are good, but they don't hold a candle to cupcakes (see the next post below)! Take this city boy into the country and he does just fine (as long as grandma is there.)!

"2 now"

2 now. That's my answer when you ask how old I am. My aunt Margaret and uncle BJ came to visit for my second birthday, and they, my friends, are party people! I am old enough to do all sorts of cool things now, like make and eat cupcakes. Cupcakes were by far the best part about my birthday, even though Marg and BJ were a close second. Did I mention that I like cupcakes?

Oom Pa Pa

So, in case you were wondering, my favorite song right now is "Oom Pa Pa" from the Oliver Soundtrack. And I'm big on rabbits as well. Tractors also interest me, but not as much as the difference between big and little. I have a "big" vocabulary, but "little" patience. I've been trying to put some of the words I know together into sentences. Sentences crack me up. So much is going on in my world. It really is quite a lot to handle in a day! And too much to handle in one post, so there's another below. So many shenanigans, so little time!

summer

Last year I was really too young to appreciate all that summer has to offer. But now that I'm almost 2, I really understand its nuances (I don't have any idea what nuances means, btw.). That's why I've been bad about posting lately; there's just too much climbing, swinging, relaxing, getting wet, and getting dirty to do. Mama and dada are a little tired of the park, but the good thing is that there are at least three within walking distance, so we get to mix things up a bit. Yeserday, I rode an actual horse (smokey, or as I like to call him, "mokey") at a park, but I didn't get any pictures--sorry. Still, I'll leave you with a "neigh" for now! I hope you're all at the park at this very moment!

Nice Ride

So I got my dad this cool seat for Father's Day (we celebrated early here). I'm so sneaky! I got him a present that was just as much a present for me!! I love to go riding on dad's bike with him; i finally found a ride that gives me some freedom! And I haven't eaten one bug yet!
